Hey, melissa2u, themegs and jigofspite -- did I do alright? At first I was completely OOC, but I think I got better as I went. I know I didn't give ya much to judge me on. I was struggling to keep up with all the strands before one of you -- can't remember who -- advised me just to concentrate on my own strands and catch up on the others later. In hindsight, there are SO many things I would've liked to follow-up on, with all three of the other lads, but I just couldn't think that fast on my feet last night. Nonetheless, I had an absolutely brilliant time, both rp'ing and getting to know you all better. I'll improve, I promise!!!!! And thanks again for giving me a safe, positive forum to learn how to do this whole rpg thing in. *pets all*

littlegymrat I SO enjoyed getting to know you better last night. You seem a very interesting person, and I look forward to more chats in the future. I am SOOOOO sorry I had to cut off the group chat immediately after starting. I hated to do that, and I hope you lot didn't think I was being rude or snarky. It's just that, as I had mentioned, I had a previous committment, and given that it was the first night of the rpg I knew I couldn't keep up with two group chats (one for that game, one with you) and rp'ing the flurry of comments to the first post of the game all at the same time. I multi-task, but not THAT well!!!! But I so look forward to our game. I will be online tonight, and hopefully we can do our group chat then and I can apologize properly!

Sandy and the kids came home from holiday in Washington (state) on Tuesday night, and last night they came over to see "the peanut," as my sister calls the BV. Victoria and Allison were sooo excited to see their baby cousin that they were practically levitating. I found that amusing, 'cause they see him every day at daycare, since sis and I use the same daycare provider. But I guess Jenny doesn't let the girls touch him much while at daycare, to avoid the spread of germs. So they both wanted to hold him. That went over like a lead balloon with him, let me tell you! He loves them and smiles at them lots -- but from the safety of an adult's arms only!

He almost, almost, almost rolled over by himself last night. Had there not been a baby-safe mirror in the way -- he was on his playmat -- he would have done. *looks proud*. But he didn't sleep through the night last night. sigh. *yawns*

hawkeyesmartini is off for the weekend for a trip to celebrate her anniversary. I am SO going to miss you, girl. But I hope you hve a lovely time, that kasey khane (is that his name?) does well for ya, and that you come back all happy and relaxed. And tell D. that I'll kick his ass if he doesn't manage to be romantic!!!! (Yeah, I know, me and what army as he's much, much bigger than I am. But it's the thought that counts, eh? :) ).

Off to do some real work now. Hope all have a lovely day! Huggles! NV
