So... Mark has decided that he is going to do the Master's Program. He does plan to continue working at his firm at the same time, because so little work is coming in right now that he has the time to do the program at the same time. But the $34,000, or whatever it was, in tuition for an online program that doesn't provide the qualifications necessary to continue on to a PhD program just seems a stupid waste of money we don't have, to me. Not happy. But he's not to be talked out of it. *sigh*

So instead of dedicating the extra time to finding more cases, he's going to...you know all this already. I'm sorry he's not listening to you, hon.

*nod nod* It just doesn't make any sense to me. Mark is normally level headed and extremely money-conscious. I know he's not happy with his current circumstances, but this is rediculous. I'm just going to have to keep talking at him him and hope that he eventually starts to absorb what I'm saying. I wouldn't mind so much if 1) we had lots of disposable income; or 2) this would lead to a good job. But right now this just seems like a luxury we can't afford.

I think it just needs to wait. Money's tight, and he wants to make it tighter by having another baby, and this just isn't going to help right now.

Exactly. Now all I need to do is get him to understand that.

I've always wondered what'd be like for two lawyers to argue in a domestic situation.
