Devon is so funny. His new joy in life is to be carried up or down the stairs in his daddy's arms, while able to see that he is following or being followed by me. He laughs hysterically. I don't know whether he thinks he's chasing/being chased by me, or what exactly, but apparently this is just the funniest thing ever. We can't help but crack up, he's laughing so hard. Now when he's going to be taken upstairs or downstairs we wait until both of us can go at once, just to give him the thrill. It is the cutest thing ever! :D <--- *is proud mum* He also has four teeth now, two on the top and two on the bottom. He was a cute toothless wonder, but now he's an even cuter ankle-biter. I promise pictures someday, if I ever figure out how to insert them here.

I am absolutely dying over the price of Def Leppard/Journey tickets. I wasn't able to get tickets through ticketmaster because they sold out too quickly, within a few minutes, apparently. So I'm left looking at ebay and ticket brokers. The cheapest I've seen for the Detroit (Clarkston, technically) show is $175 for two GA lawn tickets, which are at the very back of the amphitheater. If you want to get anywhere near the stage we're talking $500+ per ticket. After last year's show here in Lansing where I had Sav and Phil flirting with me, obviously I really, really, really want to be in the first couple of rows. But at those prices? Ain't gonna happen. The show's not til the end of July (or is it June? I think it's July), so I'm hoping ticket prices on Ebay will come down closer to the date, and that more will be available, but at this stage I won't be going. :( This will be the first Lep concert in the area (other than the second show last year, which was the same date as the 1st U2 Auburn Hills concert) that I will have missed in close to ten years. I've even looked at tickets for the Cincinatti show, figuring if we could travel to State College, PA to see them, why not Cinci. But the same price issues apply to the Cinci. show too. *sigh* Hey... does anyone know where Scranton, PA or Hershey, PA are in relation to Ohio or State College, PA? Maybe I could look into doing one of those shows, though it would be difficult with Devon to be passed off to someone for a longer period. *is desperate*

Not much else new, although Megs I thought of you yesterday at lunch, while I was eating my "Drumstick" ice cream. :D

I'd love to see Def Leppard again, but I don't have the money. I'm sure Cleveland is sold out too.

Heeee. I begged Megs to make it for me, and being the sweet thing she is, she did so. Love those eyelashes!

How adorable! The only thing better than toothless grins, are the ones with just a few toofies. My boy used to be fascinated with the ceiling fan. He'd gurgle happily at it for ages.

*giggle* Devon does that, too. And hanging light fixtures. Even though they don't move, they fascinate him. He is just the cutest thing ever.

They are!

And I am going to be having another drumstick at lunch today, I think. YUM. ;D

YAY! That sounds good.

Maybe someday we'll be thinking about how lucky we were to see U2 before the prices got too high. ;)
nosferatuvoicenosferatuvoice on April 12th, 2006 02:23 pm (UTC)
Gah, I hope not. I hope their tickets never get that expensive.
Megsthemegs on April 12th, 2006 02:25 pm (UTC)
I don't think they will. They don't like that bs.
nosferatuvoicenosferatuvoice on April 12th, 2006 02:29 pm (UTC)
Thank God for that. Funny thing is, usually neither do the Leps. I suspect it's because of the dual billing that the tickets have gone so high.
